ABOUT ME
Hi, I’m Dylan.
I’m an author, communications designer, and community builder.

A different way of seeing.
At sixteen, I learned I had keratoconus, a condition that affects the shape of the cornea. I couldn’t drive, so I walked for miles around Olympia, Washington. Walking gave me time to notice the world, and the people in it.
A long walk north.
In 2012, I started a months-long walk from Los Angeles up the West Coast. The friendships I made along the way made the journey possible. I returned to walk the Oregon coast in 2015, 2016, and 2018.
What I’m doing now.
I help people share and grow their vision through Raines Communications. Through The Raines Foundation, I develop communities for a wiser, more compassionate and peaceful world.
I also write, make contemplative music, and follow the questions that keep me curious. My first children’s book is A World of Possibilities.
